Yenko is one of the most legendary Chevrolet tuners of all time, and the name currently lives on through a company called Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). SVE mainly works on sports cars like the Camaro, but the company has more recently branched out into pickup trucks. And its latest offering is based on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, called the Yenko/SC Silverado Off-Road Truck.

Unlike the street-oriented Silverado that SVE introduced earlier this year, this new model is aimed squarely at the Ram TRX. With a custom-built LT1-based supercharged V8 producing 800 horsepower, the Yenko Silverado looks like the perfect weapon to take down the Ram.

The Yenko Silverado Off-Road Truck comes in either crew cab or double cab configurations, based on the Custom trim level 4WD. To balance out the added power of the supercharger, the truck is fitted with a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission, Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers, 16.1-inch Duralife vented rotors, a BDS four-inch lift kit, front and rear Fox performance shocks, and a heavy-duty rear sway bar.

On the exterior, SVE has added a slew of items to differentiate its truck from a standard Silverado. There's a new hood insert made from OEM-quality high-impact composite material, unique 12-spoke one-piece wheels with rim edges finished in silver, black, or body color, Nitto Ridge Grappler LT295/60R20 off-road performance tires, a custom high-impact composite tailgate panel overlay with an embossed 'YENKO/SC' logo, and a custom front grille bar with a stamped 'YENKO/SC' logo.

SVE hasn't quoted a price, likely because the exact number depends on custom upgrades. The company will only produce 50 vehicles, each of which includes a numbered badge, two numbered key fobs, a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin, and a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty on the engine and supercharger assembly, transmission upgrade, and non-powertrain components. The YENKO/SC Silverado Off-Road Truck is now available through your local Chevy dealership.
