Yet Another Flying Car That Will Never Work

Do the words "Slovakian flying car" make you want to spend your money?

If necessity is the mother of invention, then a complete lack of necessity coupled with boredom must have been this thing’s parents. Over the years, there have been plenty of attempts at making a flying car, all of which ignore the fact that we don’t really need a flying car, at least not enough to put up with a bunch of half-assed attempts. So meet the Aeromobil, a Slovakian-made concept which is every bit as daft as its predecessors, albeit slightly more aerodynamic.

The video does show it flying, but not in a way which particularly inspires confidence. Not that light aircraft generally look all that stable, but a Cessna can at least get more than a few feet off the ground and doesn't look like a dragonfly in the wind.
