This isn't the first time a Ford dealership has done something like this and it certainly won't be the last. That's a good thing. Beechmont Ford, a Cincinnati, Ohio Ford dealership, has recently unveiled a Ford Mustang GT upgrade program that packs on the horsepower for an extremely reasonable price tag. It is now offering Mustang GTs with the Roush Phase 2 supercharger kit. The kit alone costs $7,999 from Roush but the dealership is more than happy to install it for you. This kit includes a TVS 2650 Supercharger which, when combined with the stock naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, delivers a new total of 750 horsepower and 670 lb-ft of torque.

The price? Brace yourselves: $44,994.

Just to compare, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of twist, all for $73,995. The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and its 717 hp will set you back at least $58,995. Oh, and it's possible to get the Roush supercharged Mustang with a six-speed manual gearbox. The GT500 and Challenger Hellcat are equipped with only two pedals.

Beechmont Ford will install this kit on both the Mustang GT coupe and convertible as well as 10-speed automatic models. Buyers also have the opportunity to add more customization options like body stripes, vinyl wraps, paint, window tint, and suspension setup systems. And yes, buyers can finance the entire thing with $0 down. The dealer will also ship the muscle car to anywhere in America.

Another huge bonus and source of comfort owners will enjoy is that Roush Performance is a Ford corporate partner, meaning their respective warranties blend together. There's a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty on the modified 'Stang and it's good at any Ford dealer in the country.

Beechmont Ford's previous tuning projects include a 725-hp F-150 with a Gen 3 Whipple supercharger and rear-wheel-drive for just $39,995. Think of it as the modern-day F-150 Lightning Ford has no plans to officially build.
