You Can Buy A New Lexus LC Coupe Right Now For Less Money

Nothing like a summertime sale.

With an MSRP of $92,995 and $95,505 respectively, the gorgeous Lexus LC and LC 500h grand touring coupes aren't something you see every day. Lexus is fully aware neither will ever achieve best-seller status. That was never its intention. But every now and then a halo car does go on sale. According to Cars Direct, Lexus has quietly released a new dealer cash incentive program on all LCs. This was not advertised and it reportedly began earlier this month, right around the time when Lexus increased rebates on most of its lineup.

To help push LC and LC500h sales a bit, Lexus has authorized dealerships to offer up to $5,000 discounts to help sway buyers. Apparently this is the first time Lexus has put the coupes on sale, so to speak, since the initial 2017 launch. Mind you, dealerships are not required to shave off the $5 grand (or a lesser amount), but Lexus corporate wanted to at least give them the ability to do so. How long will this deal last? Not much longer, unfortunately. July 31 is the last day, and interested buyers probably shouldn't presume a better deal will be offered in the future. Here's why: Lexus has a consistent history of having month-to-month offers, more so than its direct competition.

The likelihood of this, or any other current offer, continuing into next month isn't good. Could the LC and LC500h base price drop further in August? Possibly, but why take that chance if you're serious about buying one? Now's the time. To refresh, the Lexus LC comes powered by an all-aluminum naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 (shared with the RC F and GS F) with a total of 467 hp and 389 lb-ft of torque. The LC500h, however, features a hybrid setup with a 3.5-liter V6 connected to an electric motor.
