You may remember the reveal of the Rezvani Tank a few weeks ago – because let's face it, it's hard to forget. Billed as the toughest SUV on the planet, the military-style off-roader arrived with an imposing armored body, a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 producing 500-horsepower, and a hefty starting price of $178,000 – and that's before you start adding all the optional goodies. The bonkers SUV made its world debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas this week, where Rezvani shared good news for those who can't afford it.

The good news is that there's now a more affordable V6 version available that offers "all the same rugged options, but with an engine built for everyday urban life." The new variant is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, yet still returns a impressive 25 miles per gallon. It may not be as powerful as its V8 sibling, but that doesn't mean the V6-powered Rezvani Tank is less capable, featuring the same rugged design elements, on-demand 4x4, and off-road capable suspension found on the V8 model. "With the addition of the V6 engine, Tank is now the ultimate road-going and off-road extreme utility vehicle," said company CEO Ferris Rezvani.

All of the V8 Tank's optional extras are also available for the V6 model to turn the Tank into a more hardcore tactical off-roader, including thermal night vision, ballistic armor protection, and a leather interior package. "With the addition of the V6 engine, Tank is now the ultimate road-going and off-road extreme utility vehicle," said Ferris Rezvani. "The two engines provide the best of both worlds, and the range of options available allows buyers to build the SUV of their dreams." Rezvani is now accepting orders for the V6-powered tank on the company's official website, with prices starting at $146,000.
