Off-road enthusiasts who want to buy new accessories that improve their vehicle's capability are spoiled for choice. Just about every type of accessory you can imagine is available, from winches and ladders to roof racks and mounted lights. Hundreds of accessories will also be available for the Ford Bronco and Hummer EV Pickup.

BFGoodrich, on the other hand, thinks it has spotted a gap in the market. While the company is best known for developing off-road tires, BFGoodrich has developed a new set of off-road wiper blades designed for trucks, Jeeps, SUVs 4x4s, off-road, and on-road driving.

BFGoodrich's wipers are inspired by the company's All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tire tread design with a durable rubber element. They also feature the company's "Scrub-X Extreme Weather Performance" that effectively clears splattered mud, bugs, rain, snow, and grime, improving visibility during grueling off-road adventures.

Furthermore, the tire company claims its "Weather Repelling Technology" can prevent mud, rain, snow and ice from forming on the blade cover. The wiper's "X-Flex Suspension" also provides complete windshield contact, while a "Secure-X Connector" allows for easy and secure installation. The innovative blades were designed by wiper blade specialist Pylon Manufacturing Corporation.

"Pylon's 50-year legacy of engineering innovation was key in achieving success when we set out to create a wiper that excels in off-road and all-weather conditions", said Mike Fretwell, Pylon CMO. "We've set a new benchmark in the industry and are excited to launch the BFGoodrich Off-Road Wiper Blades."

This isn't a cheap accessory, however: BFGoodrich's off-road wipers will set you back $79.99 for a pack of two, which seems steep for a pair of wiper blades. Whether these unique wipers are necessary or justify the price tag is up for debate, but if they are as effective as BFGoodrich's marketing jargon claims they could be worth it for hardcore off-roading enthusiasts who need the extra visibility while navigating tricky terrain.
