You Can Now Call The Hellcat A Supercar

/ Comments

Don't you think it's about time?

After witnessing a Dodge Challenger Hellcat take down a Nissan GT-R – and a Nismo-tuned one at that – in the quarter-mile sprint, we politely requested the Hellcat be referred to as a supercar. In case anyone out there is still reluctant to give the 707-hp beast supercar status, here's yet more evidence. This time we have a Charger flying the Hellcat flag, and once again it's up against Godzilla. While it doesn't take down the GT-R, the times are mighty close.

So, once again, if you're going to call the GT-R a supercar, please afford the Hellcat the same courtesy.
