This week, Aston Martin lifted the wraps off the hardcore DBS Superleggera, and we've been drooling over it ever since. With a starting price of $304,995, not many will be able to afford the automaker's new 715-hp beast. For us poor souls who have no hope of ever buying one, the online configurator has launched allowing us to customize our dream DBS Superleggera. Four preset Design Specifications selected by Aston Martin are available, but it's more fun to build your own and explore all the custom options buyers have at their disposal.

As you would expect, there's a wealth of different exterior and interior color combinations available. For the exterior, buyers can choose between the standard range or the special Q palette. You can also spruce up the exterior by changing the hood and side louvres to make the car look even more aggressive, while the mirror caps can match the body color or be finished in one of two different carbon finishes. The 21-inch wheels, on the other hand, are offered in two designs and six different finishes including gold if you want to stand out, and the brake callipers can also be customized. As a finishing touch, the badging and engine cover can be finished in carbon fiber.

Inside, there's a choice of three leather materials, heated seats, numerous dash trim inlay options including sleek Satin Chopped Carbon Fiber, and the steering wheel can also be finished in carbon fiber. Audiophiles can upgrade the sound system to an optional Bang & Olufsen setup. These customisation options only scratch the surface, as there's also color options for the carpets, seat belts and much more. How would you spec your Aston Martin DBS Superleggera?
