Forza Horizon 4 has one of the most eclectic car collections of any racing game, enabling you to take everything from the McLaren Senna to the Peel P50 for a spin around a virtual recreation of the UK.

Since the game launched last October, developer Playground Games has expanded the car roster considerably, with both paid-for packs and free updates. To celebrate the game's one-year anniversary, a new free update has been released that adds some new special cars to Forza Horizon 4's ever-expanding roster that will certainly keep McLaren fans happy.

First up is the McLaren 600LT. The fastest, most powerful and most track-focused McLaren Sports Series car yet, the 600LT is based on the 570S and boasts a 3.8-liter V8 engine uprated to 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. A modified carbon body also enhances the performance, which includes an extended front splitter and rear diffuser, new side sills, and a fixed rear wing. Compared to the 570S, the 600LT is 211.6 pounds lighter. These modifications enable the McLaren 600LT to hit 62 mph in 2.8 seconds from a standstill before topping out at 204 mph.

Also joining Forza Horizon 4's car roster is the McLaren 720S Spider, which we proclaimed as the best car on sale this year. The open-top version of the McLaren 720S Spider packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. With this setup, the 720S Spider will sprint from 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and onto a top speed of 212 mph. Despite being phenomenally powerful, the 720S Spider is surprisingly comfortable, too.

The Ford F-150 Prerunnner DeBerti Design and Volkswagen ID. R electric racecar that shattered records at the Nurburgring, Pikes Peak, and Goodwood have also been added to the game as part of the update.
