The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is one of the most dangerous events in the world. Teams bring their hand-built racecars to take down the 12.42-mile course, which has 156 turns and an altitude change of approximately 9,400 feet. Thanks to Bring A Trailer, someone willing to pay the right amount has the ability to get into the Pikes Peak Winning 2014 Palatov D2RS. Not only is this insane racecar a class winner, but the vehicle is also street legal. Yeah, we're drooling too.

Built by Palatov Motorsport out of Portland Oregon, the racecar is a visceral road car and a capable track monster. Just behind the cabin lies a LSA 6.2-liter V8 that makes 552 hp and more than 530 lb-ft of torque. With the racecar's weight of 1,900 lbs, this vehicle is capable of scaring the driver, a brave friend and the entire neighborhood. To keep the V8's power in check, there are six-position Wilwood calipers, adjustable Penske shocks and sticky Hoosier rubber. The chassis is ready for NASA's Super Unlimited class and other events with a chromo tube frame, along with other additional roll bars. To make this auction even sweeter, the seller is including a free private track day at Oregon Raceway Park for the winning bidder.
