The Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 is a hell of a muscle car but is too expensive for some. No worries. You can still buy a 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT starting from around $33,000. But say you've still got a few extra bucks kicking around. Why not upgrade that Mustang GT with one of Ford Performance's new "Performance Packs" with GT350 parts. These are emissions-legal performance calibrations for North America-only 2015-2017 Mustang GTs and the factory warranty remains unaffected.

The first of three packs will be available starting this Monday, August 1, while the remaining two sets will be released in September and October, respectively. Power Pack 1 will offer a high flow K&N air filter, and 13 hp and 16 lb-ft of power gains over the stock GT. Power Pack 2 takes things a bit further. Buyers will receive the GT350's cold air intake, making for an additional 21 hp and 24 lb-ft, as well as an industry exclusive open air filter. Power Pack 3 includes the same as above but overall output will be increased by 37 hp and 51 lb-ft. Oh, the GT350's intake manifold is also tossed into the mix. These packs will be offered with both automatic and manual-equipped cars. Official pricing has yet to be released.
