Automakers love to do special editions of some of their best sellers. Reason being is that they can tack on extra little bits, add unique badging, build a limited number and jack up the price somewhat. Sometimes this formula works great, other times not so much. But the new 2016 Ram Stinger Yellow 1500 Sport is actually a pretty sweet deal. Limited to only 2,250 examples, the Stinger Yellow 1500 Sport is essentially the regular 1500 Sport crew cab only that it's – you guessed it – painted yellow. And yes, yellow is the only exterior paint option.

Offered in either 4x2 or 4x4 configurations, power comes from a 395-hp Hemi paired to an 8-speed automatic. Dual chrome-tipped exhaust, vented sport hood, and 22-inch wheels (20-inchers only on the 4x4 version, however) are included. Step inside and you'll see that familiar interior, only now it's highlighted with Light Black Chrome and yellow details. There's body color accent stitching throughout, Sport embroidery on the seats and black leather seats with colored accent sport mesh. Also included is the Uconnect system with navigation and standard rear-view camera. Pricing starts at $44,340, including destination. Thing is, for a couple thousand less, you can get a regular Ram 1500 Sport and your choice of nine exterior colors.
