When the so-called base versions of the Porsche 911 and Ferrari 458 Italia aren't enough, there's good news. Both automakers offer something even more extreme. We're talking about the 911 GT3 and 458 Speciale. Power for these comes from a 3.8-liter flat-six with 469 horsepower and a 4.5-liter V8 with 597 hp, respectively. Obviously the 911 is rear-engined while the 458's has its power placed at mid-ship, but both are pretty much street going versions of track cars. And to be perfectly honest, it'd be a really hard choice to pick only one to take home.

If you're unable to make the decision (and what a tough life that'd be if you had to), Car Magazine is here with this new comparison video. Watch as these two incredible machines duke it out.
