You'll Soon Be Able To Drive The Ferrari 812 Superfast in Forza

The McLaren 720S will also make its Forza debut in the Top Gear Car Pack.

Forza Horizon 4 may be speeding onto Xbox One and PC in September, but that doesn't mean Forza Motorsport 7 is being abandoned. Next week will see the release of the Top Gear Pack, which as the name suggests includes a salivating selection of cars hand-picked by the Top Gear team. Available on July 12, the Top Gear Pack adds seven new cars to the game's already expansive roster. The headline addition is the Ferrari 812 Superfast, which makes its debut in the Forza franchise.

Also making its Forza debut is the mighty McLaren 720S. Both of these contemporary exotics should be fun to tear round the virtual Top Gear test track. If these modern supercars a bit too wild for you to tame, the Top Gear Pack also includes the exquisite Alfa Romeo Giulietta or Porsche 904 Carrera GTS for classic car fans.

Round off the selection are three brutal thoroughbred track cars: the KTM X-Bow GT4, Vuhl 05RR, and Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5, the latter of which makes its racing game debut. While both the Ferrari 812 Superfast and McLaren 720S are new to Forza, this isn't the first time they have featured in a racing game. Owners of Project CARS 2 have been able to take the McLaren 720S for a virtual test drive since last September, and the Ferrari 812 Superfast was added to the hardcore racing simulation Assetto Corsa in another car pack last year. Even so, millions of people play Forza, so this is great exposure for both cars.

Available on Xbox One and PC July 10, the Forza Motorsport 7 Top Gear Pack will cost £5.79 ($7.63), or it will be available for free if you own a Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass. Those who purchase the car pack will also get access to "the Stig's Digital Cousin" driving suit.
