Retro-styled supercar boasts 1,341 hp and is fully electric.
Anything Sweden can do, it seems Finland can do just as well. Boasting Koenigsegg One: 1 levels of power, this is the Toroidion 1MW electric concept, which was just unveiled at the 2015 Top Marques Monaco. The Finnish carmaker has created a retro-inspired supercar with 1,341 horsepower, which we all know equates to 1 Megawatt of power. Hence the name: "1MW." More impressive than the output level is the fact it's all generated by batteries as the concept is fully electric.
The company says the batteries are lightweight and high performance with rapid swap capabilities. Toroidion claims the gorgeous lightweight concept, which was conceived, developed and built in Finland has "scalable performance." The company also says the car is fully street legal. We look forward to hearing and seeing more about the 1MW, with more details to be released after some testing. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures. This thing is beautiful.
