There has been a lot of demand for the upcoming Ford GT and it's easy to see why. Unfortunately, if you're interested in getting a Ford GT in the UK you'll have to act fast because less than 20 units will land in the UK every year.In a recent conversation with Autocar, Ford UK's boss Andy Barratt addressed the domestic interest in the Ford GT. "I'm fighting very hard for the allocation because when we produced the last GT, 101 came to Europe and only 28 officially came to the UK."

Ford plans to produce an extremely limited run of only 250 Ford GTs per year, which is far less than the 4,000 examples produced for the last GT in 2005 and 2006. If Ford were to limit the GT's production to around the 1,000-vehicle mark for its entire lifespan, the UK would receive approximately 17 units every year. The Ford GT is expected to debut in 2016 and will pump out around 600 horsepower. It's expected to cost somewhere around $370,000.
