The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is dead, and the company released a limited edition model called the Final Edition with a run of 1,600 units. The Final Edition cars had a price of $38,000 and the very first example was auctioned off, with the proceeds going to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Unfortunately, this special edition Evo didn't really bring in the big bucks. The final bid was $46,200 by a dealership called Brooklyn Mitsubishi. Now this dealership is selling that Final Edition Evo #0001.

If you want to be the lucky owner of the first Final Edition Evo, you will now have to pay $88,888. This is more than double what Brooklyn Mitsubishi paid for the car, and we have a feeling that this car is going to sit around on the dealership's lot for a while. The Final Edition came with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, with an additional 12 hp and 5 lb-ft of torque, for a total of 303 hp and 305 lb-ft. But what do you think? Is nearly $90k for this car way too much dough?
