Your New Ford Focus RS Is Coming To The US Next Spring

Meaning you'll have to wait a full year.

Having made its world debut at Geneva earlier this month, the 2016 Ford Focus RS is about to show its face in New York next week. Only this time it’s the US-spec version. Ford has just released official photos and some details regarding the Focus RS that Americans will finally have. Fortunately, it’s virtually unchanged from what we’ve already seen. That 2.3-liter turbocharged four banger with 315 hp? Oh yeah. Nothing’s changed. That torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system? Ditto. Six-speed manual? Check.

The Focus RS you’re looking at, painted that gorgeous Nitrous Blue, will be on display in New York. And yes, it’ll be one of four exterior color options, alongside Stealth Gray, Shadow Black and Frozen White. So when will you be able to walk into your friendly Ford dealership and order a Focus RS? Sadly, you’ll have to wait until Spring 2016, exactly one year from now.
