You've Never Seen A Toyota Camry Like This Before

Someone needs to make this Toyota Camry widebody.

The Toyota Camry is a humble family car that doesn't usually attract the attention of aftermarket tuners. But what if the Camry was given a new dose of attitude? To find out, BradBuilds has rendered the family sedan with an aggressive body kit, and it looks insane. Chances are you've never seen the Toyota Camry look like this before.

At the front, the artist has added a low slung splitter The ride height has also been lowered significantly, while the flared fenders house some large wheels wrapped in chunky tires, giving the family sedan a much wider track that looks ridiculous. A prominent rear diffuser and two large exhaust tips complete the aggressive new look.

The artist appears to have based the widebody Camry on the XSE trim, which features 19-inch wheels, tinted headlights and taillights, a dual exhaust system, and sport-tuned suspension as standard. In its XSE guise, the Toyota Camry is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four engine producing 206 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque with FWD and 205 hp and 185 lb-ft when speced with AWD.

The inline-four engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. We would expect the widebody Camry to be given a performance boost to match its aggressive looks if it ever entered production.

Alternatively, if you want a high-performance Camry, Toyota offers the range-topping Camry TRD with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 301 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque.

While Brad Builds' hardcore Toyota Camry is unlikely to enter production, never say never. Recently, vehicle artist Khyzyl Saleem mocked up his vision of a wild Volkswagen Golf GTI widebody. We never expected it to enter production, but it caught the attention of the aftermarket tuner Prior Design. Soon, the tuner will be turning it into a reality - we can't wait to see the finished result. Would you also like to see this hardcore Toyota Camry enter production?
