Built for a private collection, it will be shown at Ville d'Este.
It takes a very special kind of client to be invited to purchase one of Lamborghini's limited edition vehicles or exclusive offerings. But to get the company to collaborate with Italian design firm Zagato to produce a bespoke, one-off variation on the Gallardo LP570-4, you need to be a really unique connoisseur customer. Such is the case of Albert Spiess, "one of the most significant Lamborghini collectors", as described by the company itself.
Spiess's specially-designed one-off Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato marks the design firm's 95th anniversary, and is the product of close cooperation between the designers and the car manufacturer. It will be displayed at the Ville d'Este Concours D'Elegance at Italy's Lake Como this weekend. The 5-95 features a redesigned Gallardo exterior, and draws inspiration from former Zagato concepts, like the 2007 Spyker C12.
