We already knew Europeans loved the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 from our experience at the Geneva Motor Show. And now, Geiger Cars, based in Germany, has managed to secure a few units of the limited edition car to be sold in Germany. That's right, the Germans love American muscle. Thing is, only 1,492 units of the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 Inaugural Edition are set to be built.
It's unclear how many Geiger Cars will be importing. Still, the price won't be cheap, set at €55,000. At current conversion rates, that comes to about $77,800 USD. It's powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque and is mated either to a five-speed automatic with Auto Stick or a six-speed manual. As the most powerful version of the Challenger, it has an estimated top speed of 175 mph and will go from 0 to 62 mph in around four seconds. The 392 also gains unique interior and exterior features, such as 20-inch wheels, Mopar quad exhaust tips, aero parts, and a two-tone leather interior.
Only two exterior colors are offered: Deep Water Blue with Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with Viper Blue stripes. Just picture this on the Autobahn.
