Just little updates, really, but it's nice to see them happening nonetheless.
The first prototype ST1 car from Zenvo broke cover back in 2008. Since then, the boutique automaker has delivered two units of the car, and taken orders for another five That doesn't sound like a lot, but Zenvo only plans on having sold 15 cars by 2020, when the SV2 will debut. That sounds like an attainable goal, especially since the car keeps getting improvements. The latest is a new transmission, a 7-speed single-clutch sequential. And, we have to say, the car looks fantastic in both green and silver.
It is reported to be the fastest of its type in the world, and it will send the 1,104 horsepower made by the twin-charged 6.8-liter V8 to the rear wheels. Some new wheel options have been announced as well, as well as new luxury cabin options for the car, which starts at just shy of a million dollars. So far as we know, no other ST1s have caught fire since the one that burned on Top Gear's test track. It's unlucky to have the only one that's caught fire to do so on TV, but then again, with so few ever made, that's still a pretty high percentage of them. Here's hoping that's the last of them.
