Dodge has teamed up with Zinvo, a well-known watchmaker, to create a timepiece that honors the Challenger SRT Hellcat.

The decidedly sporty-looking wristwatch known as the Blade Hellcat has been inspired by the iconic muscle car. Challenger-inspired elements include the dial itself, which mirrors the Hellcat's speedometer. It features the same red lighting and font as you'd find in the V8-powered coupe, along with the SRT logo that is printed on the sapphire crystal.

Elsewhere, you'll notice the one-second turbine has drawn design inspiration from the Challenger SRT Hellcat's five-spoke wheels. Even the strap has been made with the same material you'd find on the Hellcat's seatbelts, giving it a truly sporty and Dodge-like feel.

The bottom of the strap has been finished in leather. And it's no ordinary hide, either. Zinvo has gone to great lengths to replicate the feel of the high-powered Challenger, and sourced leather from the company's manufacturing team.

A particularly neat (if subtle) detail can be found on either side of the stainless steel case. On the crown, the etching evokes the distinctive quad headlights and the fuel tank cap. On the other side, the Dodge logo has been tastefully engraved into the case, along with an outline of the taillights.

And, if that's not enough, Zinvo has even designed the packaging to be special. The box is said to replicate the signature red key that is reserved for SRT Hellcat models.

Even though it's limited to just 500 examples worldwide, the watch is surprisingly affordable at $399. If you're interested, pre-orders have already commenced, and deliveries are expected to take place late in January 2023.

The release of this watch is very fitting, as the existing Challenger and Charger models, along with the V8, will be discontinued as the Stellantis-owned brand pivots to smaller engines and electrification. If you can't get your hands on one of the Last Call models (especially with the crazy markups), the watch is a fine and affordable way to say goodbye to these much-loved muscle cars.

We've seen several watchmakers and car companies team up to celebrate an icon of motoring. Recently, TAG Heuer released the Carrera x Porsche RS 2.7 limited edition watch to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. Priced from $7,750, it's considerably dearer than Zinvo's latest creation.
