The Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" was a long-range, high-altitude, strategic reconnaissance aircraft capable of exceeding speeds of Mach 3, and was the world's fastest and highest-flying air-consuming manned aircraft throughout its 33-year career. So what does this have to do with a Tesla Model S Plaid with a minigun sticking out of its hood? That's what FullMag tries to explain in this YouTube video about a very unique-looking car. We all know that the Tesla Model S Plaid is a ridiculously fast car, and we've seen these machines modded by the aftermarket tuning scene, but we've never come across an armed version. Named the FullMag SR762 (a nod to the Blackbird), this machine looks ready to mow down hordes of zombies or take a chilled Sunday cruise through downtown Kabul.

This car was built by Unplugged Performance in only two weeks and was armed by various companies including DeGroat Tactical Arms and Pro Fence. The N134 minigun mounted to the front of this Tesla fires 308 caliber rounds and is mounted to a cross brace that is fixed to the chassis for extra durability and safety. The front-end of this Tesla also gets a black Oak IR floodlight as well as a set of mounted spotlights on the top of the hood. The body of the SR762 has received a number of modifications (you can tell by the vast number of aircraft rivets) and features widened fenders, new side sills, and a teardrop carbon fiber rear wing. The car rolls on a set of Unplugged Performance UP03 lightweight racing wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, which it stole from a Pikes Peak Model S race car. The front fenders also have massive cooling ducts for improved cooling and airflow over the ceramic brakes.

The interior is still pretty stock-looking, but the yoke steering wheel that so many detest fits in perfectly with the whole military aircraft look. The only real modification is a small control panel on the left-hand side of the steering wheel for the aftermarket spotlights, boasting a few toggles and not much else. The plan is to fit the controls for the weapons system in the center console, another benefit of applying this conversion to a car without a traditional transmission.
