The Tesla Cybertruck might be getting an improved version of the brand's yoke steering wheel. This is according to several pictures shared by a Twitter user. And yes, the source is another Tesla Shareholder just like the one who previously revealed loads of Cybertruck details.

Now the Cybertruck getting a yoke isn't exactly news as it was reported back in January that a lead Tesla designer favors this steering wheel style for the boxy truck - something that didn't sit well in the realm of enthusiasts and gearheads.

For starters, the yoke steering wheel was deemed a terrible mistake due to its awkward usage. Earlier versions of the weird steering wheel also suffered build quality issues on the Model S Plaid and Model X. The brand eventually rolled out fixes for these problems, one of which is improving its build quality and offering an optional round steering wheel.

We don't know about build quality, but the one appearing in what we're sure is still a prototype that received a major design change. Specifically, it now gets closed top and bottom sections, making it more similar to steering wheels found on some other vehicles. So despite keeping a rectangular shape, it can be argued that this new wheel might be easier to use.

Besides the redesigned yoke steering wheel, other parts of the front cabin were shown as well. The controls for the electronically-adjustable driver's seat get the same finish as the truck's exterior.

Interestingly, there's also the lack of a digital cluster behind the yoke wheel. Some comments from the Cybertruck OwnersClub forum actually like this since they found digital instrument clusters to be "distracting."

Another interior shot came from the same forum mentioned above, showing a sliding lid for the huge center console. It that like a miniature tonneau cover of the Tesla truck.

Other than those details, not much more can be learned from the leaked photos. The dash is flat and minimalist like the ones on other Tesla models, and the car maker's signature giant central touchscreen is present.

We also cannot determine the true size of the truck's interior space since the leaked pictures are distorted a bit. Remember though, that Tesla said the Cybertruck is getting a six-seater version.

As for a launch date, nothing's concrete yet, but the California-based EV specialist is expected to start production of the Cybertruck later this year.
