Yes, it's fun watching cars that push 2,000 horsepower fly down dragstrips, but don't forget that vehicles this fast and powerful can be tough to handle and sometimes lose control. That may sound like a lame PSA, but this video proves how easily drivers can be overwhelmed by their cars, especially when said car is a 2,400-horsepower twin-turbo Corvette. The dude behind the wheel opens things up twice and each time his car begins to drift scarily.

Hopefully the next time we see this Corvette it's running at full-bore on a drag strip and not on a public highway. All public safety concerns aside, though, this is a damn cool Vette.
